So...this is my new blog, a third blog. Three seems excessive, but I'm nothing if not adventurous, and I have it in mind that this one will be different. That it will expand upon the apparition that I create with my other blogs, my email and social networking. These other things expose and record elements of myself for you, the anonymous consumer; and for me, looking to preserve previous iterations of myself for consumption later. So this'll be good for both of us. I promise.
This blog, while new, is actually old. I put it together with a pair of friends, both now translated north, with the intention of it being a vehicle for our podcast. Which was a good idea-we're all clever, thoughtful people with things to say. Would have been a good podcast. But we had difficulty with time and space (like you do), and it's sat empty for a long time. A sad thing, is an empty blog.
The title's a thing, by the way. The Habitat of Horses. I have a feeling I'll explain it, but later, later. This is expository, but not that expository.
I have another blog-two, if you count the video blog, but I don't, since I'm not generating content. Qalibration is old, years now, and is a sort of long, uncut expression of self. Lots of angst, cryptic posts about you-don't-know-what. And that's fine, that's good. I approve of that. It's difficult to understand, but it's not entirely for understanding's sake. It's me, a version/facet/piece of me. I hope that if you consume it, you're incorporating a me that's honest, if not clear.
This is intended to be different, to be more coherent. I have things to say, would like a good way to say them. Not about me, but about the world in general. This blog is where I'd like to say them. I don't write as well as I'd like, particularly communicative writing, and I want this blog to be a place to do that.
Feedback's welcome, encouraged even. I look forward to bending your eyes.
